I hope some of the many commenters and lurkers on the site going to the gigs can tweet me the set lists and other details. Above all, enjoy the gigs.
Operation somehow see one of my main favorite bands; Faith No More for the first time ever at a sold out show and get to meet 3/5 (chronological order: Roddy, Bordin, & Patton) of the band members and take pictures with them was succesfull! Nice lil ad-lib cover of Stevie Wonder between midlife crisis song. Confirmed! Bordin did mention to us that there will be a special surprise Wednesday show “once in a lifetime thing that they’ll prolly never do again” came exactly out of his mouth. Some jackass nerd from London wearing a purple ass shirt rudely asked If it was chuck mosley joining in but bordin only responded “can’t say! You’ll just have to find out the surprise like every one else” over great show and mike bordin was a great person to meet, so humble and open to fans waiting out in the cold for 4 hours!
Pretty sure Bad Religion will be the special guest on Wednesday.
The members went to school at El Camino Real High School (hench, El Camino Real High School Cheerleaders). Plus they start their ’30 year tour’ the following day in Anaheim.
You heard it here first!
On my way right now from redwood city hoping to sneak in/have a peak/ or even get let in by the generous security like they’ve done once before for a Prodigy show cuz I highly doubt there’ll be any scalpers for this one! Wish me luck! Faith no more forever!
I’m here from philly. Just about lost my job cause of monday’s show, but I don’t seem to care. I never thought in my life I would see these guys play live again, so I took that chance and here I am in SF, alone, and about to make a couple of hunder FNM fans that prorbably feel the same way I do. I’m 34 and have never flown cross country to see a band, and I must say it feels great! Funny thing is, I’m also going to the NY show in july so I think I can say my life will be complete. Anyway, its about an hour before they take the stage, and I feel like a friggin teenager. I’ve seen FNM four times before, but tonight is probably the most special of them all, considering they are back together and playing live gigs. Tonight’s show is like a summary of how this band has been so awesome to me since The Real Thing, and I’m sure other people will agree. Enough BS, it’s showtime and let’s rock!!!
That dreamy smiling pig poster is fucking GREAT!!! its like something from the late 80’s early 90’s it could have been the cover of one of their albums!!!
Just want to say I’m so excited for the show tonight and so excited for those that are getting to go. I won’t be able to see a setlist until tomorrow morning (since they’ll be taking the stage at 1:00 AM east coast time), but I’m going to check this site first thing when I wake up.
And if they do bring out Chuck and/or Jim for any of the shows, that would be so awesome.
I’m dying. I have a Wednesday ticket and I can’t go. I was in living NoCal again at the time, but am back in Vegas and can’t really spring for the plane ticket. I’m crushed.
I was at two of those shows in the 90’s, great retrospective videos btw.
Speaking of merch, approximately how much does each poster cost at the venue? I planned on getting one for my friend, who wasn’t able to get any tickets for any SF dates. 🙁
Same here, only saw tshirts and posters in any of the gigs in Europe.
Thanks Broken Throat…much appreciated!!!! Leaving Ontario tonight…will be there tomorrow…..Have fun you SONS OF BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!
Ti Mort RE: Merchandise.
Considerably underwhelming, T_Shirts that are on the FNM website, and signed posters unique to each venue. I was at Brixton, Berlin and Dublin last year and it was the same for each venue. oh there may be signed drum sticks or skins as well I think i saw them in Berlin.
Enjoy this evening…..
I hope Chuck is at least in the audience Wed. nite so I can give him a hug!
My guesses for the surprise, in order of likeliness (while being too lazy to check tour schedules): the Melvins, Brujeria, Imperial Teen or *gasp!* Mr. Bungle.
I think the Debutantes are legit and the cheerleaders are a blind. I’m not sure how they would use them; maybe cheering for the fans as they arrive? Having high school cheerleaders sing with the band about oral sex (“Be Agressive”) seems a little… unwholesome.
Still stuck in Maui today. Flying out tomorrow – I can’t wait!!! 🙂
I don’t think it’s Chuck. He told me he wants to, but hasn’t been invited. Unless, he’s lying… But I doubt that. Jim would be very cool indeed, but that man is Super bitter. Dean would be more likely, but underwhelming.
So I think that the ideal would be a new song, or cool new cover or something. Maybe they’ll be filming us for a new DVD.
So what do you think wed surprise is? Boo yaa tribe, cameo by Jim the pumpkin farmer, chuck mosely??? New song? I can’t wait!!!
Anyone who has been to a FNM shows this year or last….question…what kind of Merchandise did they have? Obviously posters and t-shirts!!! Did they have anything else for sale?????????
I am so excited for all of you! These shows all sound awesome. I’m fucking excited as hell about all the reviews that will be coming in. They’ll make me even more excited for when I see them in Brooklyn. 😀
THE SECOND COMING HAS ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAHWWWAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN”T KILL IT !!!! YOU CAN”T KILL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN”T KILL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN”T KILL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We east coasters can’t help but be jealous–we’re only getting one show! That said, I hope all of you have a great time this week and that some of you can make it out our way in July. Being that FNM are our heroes (we’re a tribute band) we’re super-psyched to go to the Brooklyn show and are actually planning an after party where we’ll perform songs that don’t appear in their set! Hope to see some of you there. In the meantime, you can check out some videos below. Nobody can be as good as the real thing of course, but we strive to be the next best thing.

Im going 2/3 shows. monday and wednesday…Im super excited…I have been a fan for some time now..and never thought I would get the chance to see one of the most original and talented music acts to ever come out in my generation….I feel very privileged to be going to these shows….can’t wait
Cutting close… arriving in SF at 6:50pm.
Do we have an after party place picked out yet?
Well, I don’t get to do the 3 night circuit like a lot of you lucky bastards, but I’ve got really nice seats for the Wednesday show. I can’t wait! This is gonna be amazing!
FAITH NO MORE! FAITH NO MORE! FAITH NO MORE!
They also played the Warfield October 6th of 1997. I was there for that one so I am sure.
Plane leaving #PHX around 10:45AM Monday morning…. SO SO SO SO SO SO STOKED.
Going all (3) nights…. just cannot wait. I’ve never done anything like this (followed a band out of state, and gone to see three nights in a row). To make some sense out of it in my head before I went ahead and got my tickets, set everything up, I reasoned with myself that not only are they my favorite band, hands down – but i NEVER thought I’d get the chance to see them again live. I am treating this like it’s quite possibly the last time I will get to see them live. So, the (3) night thing, as excessive. All last summer, I sat here watching what videos were uploaded from the European/South American tour(S), etc – I’m so glad I will get to see them these three nights. I feel lucky as hell – and I’m sure they won’t disappoint.
Talk to you all soon w/ reviews, and setlists, etc! Those of you going to S.F. – look forward to seeing you all there!!!
FNM!!!!!

My plane takes off at 0845. I’ll be amazed if I actually fall asleep tonight.
Hello !I have been hoping and praying for you boys to reunite and play in The Bay forever. I’m as aspiring photographer and it’s my dream to shoot shows. If there’s any way you could find it in your hearts to let one of your biggest fans shoot your show Tuesday the 13th at the Warfield (I assume I’d need some sort of permission to get in front of the …barricade), I would be eternally grateful and have one of the most Epic bands in my portfolio (pun intended). Think about it. And I can’t wait for the show Tuesday. -Alie
Im leaving Wednesday from Dirty Jerzy to hopefully make the show on time…..c u there bitches!!!
I’m leaving from Pennsylvania and heading to San Francisco at 6am… going to be a great week!!
FAITH NO MOOOOOORE FAITH NO MOOOOOOORE
I will pretend I’m from Chile!
No puedo esperar hasta el miércoles!
I know what you mean, Chileans respect big name bands performing in their country so much, as not many tour there. They are worshipped like Gods over there. In Chile, Patton really is a God, no joke!!
Sorry…I didn’t mean stand around and watch like the Chileans…I meant we better rock out like the Chileans do!!! They are the best fans ever!!!!!!! Just wanted to clear that up!!! I LOVE YOU CHILE!!!!!!!!
Treat it like it may be the last time you will ever see them!!! The CROWD better be rocking at the Warfield!!! I not travelling 3000 miles to stand around and watch!!!! Like the Chileans!!!!
