Faith No More, ahem, keyboard player Roddy Bottum finally shows off his famed squash skills in a new film short.
Via Paper Mag
Roddy Bottum, keyboardist for Faith No More, present day film composer, Angeleno and competitive squash player takes us inside the Los Angeles Athletic Club in this film by Molly Schiot. (Music is by Psychic Friend, featuring former Hole drummer Patty Schemel!)
Well done Claus for noticing the deliberate mistake.
I’m sure Roddy meant to reference golden retrievers as being “super bouncy”, and not also “big and blue” but it just sounded that way; and I find weird stuff like that funny 🙂
To those who haven’t watched the video, he was actually just talking about balls… raquetballs, that is.
“…it’s big and blue and super bouncy – kind of like a golden retriever.”
🙂
ups…bassist?
New Epic Mashups:
Hmmm… Roddy has the legs of a teenage boy, but the burly manchest of… well, a man. Gotta feel for him. In all seriousness, thanks for posting this! It sure brightened up my rather gloomy evening.
