- The best video of Mike Patton at the Gainsbourg tribute at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday night
- The LA Times way lyrical on Patton’s performance: “Patton, possessed of a slithery outlaw charm, was the evening’s breakaway lead. As the bass slinked around beatnik conga drums, he half spit and half savagely whispered in French his regards to life lived as a jerk. Occasionally he wriggled his eyebrows or widened his eyes, as if he’d just spotted a cold-blooded femme across the room.”
- And the review from Spin
- Great interview with Greg Werckman of Ipecac from Skinny magazine.
Aw shucks
Agree, this is the most important fansite for the most important band of ALL time!!
Hilarious! If you have read the ‘Spin’ review…I am guessing Patton is the ‘avant-garde weirdo’ they refer to.
Yep, thanks to Admin for this site, tis the only one I check in with regularly, I am extremely grateful.
Let’s hope so
Thanks.
Yeah! Congrats, Admin! Surely, there will be many more to come about FNM and their related stuff.
Admin, congratulations on making it to LFAD 100! Thanks for all of the great information over the last 2.5 years. Hopefully there will be many more to come.

Not bad…probably one of the better covers I’ve heard…
Well thought out interview with Greg Werckman; though as an interview subject he always leaves me kind of cold. All of his answers seem rather “canned” – at least I think so.
p.s. new Gainesbourg tribute review with a good video of “Ford Mustang”:

Thanks for the link to the interview. I must say, Ipecac is by and large my favorite record label. I mean fuck, if it wasn’t for them, I never would’ve heard of OVS and he’s one of my top electronic artists.
Patton needs to do an album of this shiz. I’d buy it.
