“1990, during a gig in Seattle, Washington, Billy Idol dumped 600 dead fish in Faith No More’s dressing room. They responded by walking on stage, naked during Idol’s set.”

Thanks ~ I think it was posted either here or in Dan’s blog last April… and I’m not a (non-computer) techie, so the last 2/3 of the interview was way over my head 😀
Very cool, Firsa! Thanks for sharing….that was a cool interview in that it was a nice balance between the typical “Why did you reunite….how was it?” kinda questions, and the cool gearhead questions….
Nice….
Hudson speaks!
Well, Jim was pretty quite on stage compared to the rest of the band and he featured in a lot less interviews than them.
off topic just a heads up if anyone has ever wanted to own the Faith No More The Real Story softcover by Steffan Chirazi there is one on ebay thats ending in 10 hours http://www.ebay.ca/itm/390358524605?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
They look older but definitelly not old.
I remeber when Jon sproke during SF show – it was first time when I heard his voice.
Here´s the “gear-oriented” video, with Jon SPEAKING!!
In non-news, “Epic” is gonna be one of the songs featured in Saints Row: The Third. SR:TT is fucking awesome and I’m excited that one of my favorite bands has a song in it and I get to listen to it while beating people to death with a gigantic purple dildo.
Jon spoke during the 2nd SF show on Apr 13 2010, too. It was his birthday and “he won a cake”.
He spoke during that gear oriented interview with Billy and Jon a couple years ago
I heard him speak back in 97 when we met him after the Roseland show in NYC…someone was busting his balls about looking like Sting…he is the strong silent type…
However….you see that bad ass look on his face? It says “recycle or else!!”
Can Jon speak?
Men in their 40s look older than they did in their 20s, Mike Patton gets loaded – stop the press!
This video was pretty cool. Whose backyard was that?
Mike… 🙂
I remember seeing him in backstage during the ZU tour… he moved, and behaved like he did back in the beginning of the 90’s… he’s still a kid inside 🙂
“…Patton was off to a bad start because he was holding two bottles of whatever…”
That’s where he stores his excess Dick Clark sperm.
Sustainability. It starts with Dick.
They look fine. And I was only saying Patton was off to a bad start because he was holding two bottles of whatever in the video and looked like he had already imbibed a good portion of their contents.
And we all know Dick Clark is a cyborg.
they dont look OLD. but OLDER. yes.
I look forward to seeing and hearing a senile old man Faith No More. Just imagine the fun and chaos and possibilities!
Old?! What are you talking about? Patton looks like it’s still stuck in a 1997 time-warp.
And you know why?
It’s all that Dick Clark sperm running through his veins.
Sustainability. It starts with You.
They are not getting any younger, why can’t they do US tours? But as much as I love FNM, I wish big Jim could join them again. While that might never happen, they could at least perform those rare classics from Angel Dust. And, I’ll say this until Mike reaches 50, but a Mr. Bungle reunion will be the greatest thing ever! I mean, Mike has already performed with three former Bungle members on stage (worked with Trevor since their teens, has never stopped) with Mondo Cane, so why not? And more Fantomas as well! Mike can only do so much.
I guess they do “care a lot”
Not sure why the last post didn’t go through, but here’s the important part:

Awww…and hopefully they can sustain themselves long enough to tour the US again 😉 Patton looks like he’s off to a bad start.
Just found this rather large interview re. Solitude of Prime Numbers soundtrack:

Come back to Europe 🙂 The Old World is waiting for FNM.
I love FNM, but they seem rather misguided this time round… what’s the message, put your garbage in the right container while we (Americans, not the band) continue to drive our SUVs, eat meat three times a day, etc.?
these guys are old, but cool 😉
