- Via Gilleathain, a brilliant multicam video of the Hammersmith Apollo show:
- I used to stay up at around 3 or 4am after a night out when I was 16 or 17 and watch Raw Power on ITV. Here via Claire Butler on Twitter and cushing71 on YouTube is an interview with Mike P, Puffy and Billy from 1992/1993.
- And via the Jon Hudson page on Facebook, here’s Jack Osbourne – son of Ozzy -adding to his previously lacking cool quotient by wearing a King for Day t-shirt.
No problem, I’ve had many problems with my name over the years.
Sorry about that – feel such an arse –

Erm, it isn’t Gillian.
and Jack replied: “Mum what’s a wanker? I’m American remember”
Come on, alternative rock? Leave that for Cobain, or some other guy. Patton’s versatile, extremely versatile. Alternative rock? Ha ha. The closest he came to that was with FNM, and I wouldn’t consider FNM “alternative rock,” nor Tomahawk. Let’s just say, he’s an experimental/avant garde/metal/rock/hardcore/classical/etc musical genius. I know, I know… this whole labeling thing is ridiculous, but Patton is far from alternative rock. Even Greg Prato would disagree. Hell, he’s put out more “grindcore” experimental work with Zorn than he has any other genre, especially alternative… I think.
By the way, I bet Sharon told jack: “Take that bloody shirt off! The drummer is a wanker and went back to his one hit wonder band no one even bloody remembers.”
I don’t always drink beer in Chile, but when I do, I make this face.
