They came, they played almost all of Sol Invictus and YouTuber DoubleAdaFool was there to capture the whole show at the Observatory.

These people making videos and photos with their cell phones are so annoying during the concerts… But it’s so cool to see the videos the morning after… Good job with this full show video dude, nice to see
No bobby you’re a real fan. I’m jealous ! I wish I had your will power.
I’m still on a fast from the cell phone videos at least until the album comes out and I see them in July. Just don’t want to ruin those first experiences. I would be up for some pro shot stuff though. Maybe we’ll get a sol Invictus live DVD or something at some point…would be a good reason to play most of the album in one night. I’m guessing our best bet for that will be the MSG show. Haven’t listened to the leak or any of the new songs since they played cone of shame the first time. Maybe I’m not a hardcore fan?
Thanks for the video, it was nice to wake up today and watch this whole show. Wow !!!!!!
I really like the audio on these five clips, esp. on the two new songs:

I know Roddy said “no cameras please” near the end to just try to make this show a special moment/experience for the people there, but I am so glad this guy filmed this show….it’s brilliant. Patton’s voice is just fantastic from start to finish…and this is the 4th show in 4 nights they’ve played! I know he was a little off at the Warfield, but this is guy is still incredibly built to sing. The band sounds great, the new songs sound great, the lyrics are really inspired…I hope they do the full album or close to it in Detroit! I would guess that Rise of the Fall is the trickiest song to pull off live and they just maybe haven’t spent enough time on it yet, but I hope it makes an appearance. I have heard it on the leak and I it gets stuck in your head almost as much as Sunny Side Up.
I have to say….Santa Ana fans, I get that you want to talk to your friends at the show and everything….but you’re talking all the way through Sol Invictus and the beginning of Matador…why are you at the show? To hear yourselves or the band?? I hope I’m not stuck next to someone like that when I see them!
