Faith No More’s Sol Invictus is battling for a top 10 spot in the US Billboard album charts.
The album is currently the ninth best-selling record in the US but it may miss out on a top 10 spot due to the inclusion of streaming data.
(US Faith No More fans, stream the shite of the album now please)
twenty one pilots is set for the number one spot and FNM will look to, er, beat off the Zac Brown Band, Brantley Gilbert, Meghain Trainor and the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack for a top 10 spot. Only one Faith No More album has reached the top 10 in the Billboard album charts before – Angel Dust which was #10 in 1992.
@Bobby B Better – I wasn’t sure if crap radio was the standard everywhere or just where I live.

Man! I thought there for a minute, that that was a new proper vid for Cone! Nearly jizzed.
If they stay in the top 10 in the U.S. it will be quite an accomplishment considering the current state of rock music in this country. There has been virtually no radio airplay and there is very slim chance that they will go into regular rotation on any station. This especially true on Clear Channel stations which are very unlikely to play any independent album. Their rock stations mostly play 10 to 20 year old (or older) music. It’s pretty sad. I went into my local Best Buy the other day and they didn’t even have it (SI)…like not even a spot where it sold out or something…like they didn’t even ship to that location…and they are the ones who had the $2 off coupon! It’s been great to see them on late night TV though…credit to the people who put those shows together.
great new CONE OF SHAME video. happy friday.
