Faith No More started a full weekend of concerts with a return to the legendary Dutch Pinkpop festival.
The band played 5 Sol Invictus tracks in their truncated festival set and Mike Patton once more commandeered a TV camera – during penultimate song Ashes to Ashes.
The band play Download tomorrow and Glasgow on Sunday.

At best, I could name my least favorite tracks. No way I could narrow my top tracks down to 10. Dat catalog <3
Good lists guys. One thing I’m not getting on SI is Black Friday but a lot of you seem to like it. Without critiquing it, let’s just say it’s near the bottom of my list of FNM songs.
@weirdlittleboy…yeah, it’s like picking between my babies. I included a few from each album because their music is really linked to the other songs on the albums for me. For instance, angle dust is my favorite album but I’m noticing I only have 2 songs from it on my list. Does that make sense?
Great show. Thank you! One of my favorite titles would be Ricochet and The Real Thing. From SI my favorites are Matador and Motherfucker.
Black Friday sounds brilliant here, the guys look super relaxed playing it.
@Bobby B Better- yeah, it’ s tough to pick Songs out of their outstanding catalouge. It’ s funny that you chose the cowboy song, cause I love this one very much. Should be in my list, too. One of my favourite pre- Patton tracks is Mark Bowen. The SI Songs have to grow on me first to get in my top10. But my all time favourite will always be Caffeine.
@weirdlittleboy…that’s a tough one. I’ll make it easier on myself and name 15. Off the top of my head and in no particular order…
-As The Worm Turns
-Chinese Arithmatic
-The Morning After
-Everything’s Ruined
-Cuckoo For Caca
-Stripsearch
-Separation Anxiety
-The Cowboy Song
-Zombie Eaters
-Last Cup of Sorrow
-King For A Day
-Digging The Grave
-Kindergarten
-RnR
-Matador
Really enjoyed this short sharp set! Band seem invigorated and genuinely happy! Black Friday rendition was freaking great and in fact it’s a great song and listen to it the most on the album! My shot at FNM top 10 changes at times but here it is:
Midlife crisis
Ashes to ashes
Epic
Zombie eaters
Stripsearch
Evidence
Everything’s ruined
A small victory
Chinese arithmetic
Seperation anxiety
Will they ever play Jizzlobber live again?
@Bobby B Better: how would your Top10 look like?
At the Moment mine is:
#1 Caffeine
#2 KFAD( song)
#3 Ricochet
#4 Midlife Crisis
#5 Cuckoo for Caca
#6 TRT( song)
#7 Caralho Voador
#8 Everything’s ruined
#9 Collision
#10 Just a man
Also, is the consensus now that midlife crisis is the best fnm song ever? It is really good but I’m not sure that it would make my top 10.
I thought it might be worth mentioning here that the Atlanta show is now sold out. I’m wondering how the other remaining US dates are selling.
