Blame Swiss National Day for the delay in weekend updates but better late than never.
Faith No More played A Small Victory for the first time since 2010 and the first time in the United States since 1993 (thanks tmgeary and ctviens on setlist.fm) as they rolled out five songs from Angel Dust and Sol Invictus in another 18-man set at the Red Hat Amphitheater, Raleigh.

Roddy’s after-show taste:
AWESOME CONCERT!!! It was so worth the five hour drive to Raleigh. Hope I get to see them again live someday.
Ahh I see what you mean about ASV in Sydney, that was definitely his best shot at it. It’s always bugged me that he consistently messes up the same songs (Digging The Grave is the biggest culprit I think). His recent comments about using his voice as an instrument and lyrics not being particularly important sheds some light on that though.
Actually, Patton completely messed up Everything’s Ruined in Detroit…but he also pretty much nailed A Small Victory back in Sydney in 2010. The ones that always have something off that I’ve seen are Digging A Grave, Spirit, and From The Dead.
Patton has badly botched the lyrics of A Small Victory every time they’ve played it since the start of the reunion. It’s a little confusing when you consider the lyrical complicity of something like Everything’s Ruined, which he doesn’t have a problem with.
It’s been played a lot as a soundcheck song so maybe the incentive to learn it properly has never been there?
