September 2nd, 2011|Faith No More, News, Tour dates|5 Comments

Roddy and Bill have both announced on Twitter that Faith No More will play in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 8 November. From what I can gather this seems to be a stadium gig – at the Estadio Malvinas.

Here is a summary of the dates so far:

8 November, Buenos Aires ARGENTINA
9 November, Teatro de Verano, Montevideo, URUGUAY
12 November, Maquinaria festival, Santiago, CHILE
14 November, SWU Festival, São Paulo, BRAZIL

Faith No More A Small Victory in Argentina video

November 3rd, 2009|Faith No More|0 Comments

A video for FNM’s first performance of A Small Victory on tour – recorded at the Club Cuidad in Buenos Aires on 1 November. By our reckoning they have not performed the Angel Dust cut live since the Phoenix Festival in England on 17 July 1993.

Another Faith No More interview: Billy speaks about future plans

October 27th, 2009|Faith No More|11 Comments

The media blackout seems to have been well and truly abandoned for the South American leg of the Second Coming tour with major Argentinean newspaper Clarin today featuring an in-depth interview with Faith No More bassist Bill Gould. Sample quote: “[Clarin] And some new songs?  [Billy] No, no…  We began to practise six weeks before the start of the tour, we had to re-learn some 75 songs  – to be able to vary the list of songs in the shows in different cities and so there was not time to compose.  Yes I can tell you that we have spoken of that, and that I am in favour, but I think we will have to see how we feel after this tour. “

Faith No More confirm Argentina date

June 29th, 2009|Tour dates|8 Comments

Both Roddy and Billy have confirmed that Faith No More will play Argentina on 1 November. Roddy: “BUENOS AIRES! Club Ciudad – November 1 = Tix on Sale June 29. Really excited about this one… stay tuned for more South American dates..” It seems, as we previously reported, that the gig will be part of the Pepsi Music fest which also features Jane’s Addiction, Alice in Chains and Depeche Mode.

Faith No More seem set to follow up their Chile date of 30 October with an appearance in Argentina. Several blogs in Argentina are reporting that Faith No More, along with Alice in Chains and Depeche Mode, will be playing the Pepsi Music festival in Buenos Aires later this year. Reports (in Spanish) here and here.
Faith No More last played Argentina at the Monster of Rock festival on 10 September 1995 (Video above).
