Faith No More finished off the European leg of their Sol Invictus tour in Denmark at the Tinderbox festival on Sunday night.

Apart from Mike Patton having a Mario Balotelli moment with a poncho, it was a fitting finale. There were no real surprises in the set but Spirit and King for a Day and 5 cuts from Sol Invictus( but not Sunny Side Up) were included.

Faith No More to headline Tinderbox festival in Denmark

February 4th, 2015|Faith No More, News, Tour dates|0 Comments

Another day, another European festival.

This was actually announced over the weekend by the organisers but Faith No More will play Denmark’s Tinderbox festival on 28 June.

Tickets are on sale here.

The organisers stated: “Cult band Faith No More from San Francisco is to play at TINDERBOX Sunday, June 28. FAITH NO MORE is among the most dynamic and kick ass live rock bands touring, with their fusion of heavy metal, funk, hip- hop, and rock they have moved the standards of rock several times. They are build upon a solid funky rock base, aggressive vocals, metallic guitars and a significantly large energy release. Their comeback single “Motherfucker” indicates a rock band on top of their career, on the way to TINDERBOX.

Festival Manager Brian Nielsen says: “We have worked hard in recent months to close the deal with Faith No More. They have been requested from the many Danish and international festivals, so of course it’s nice that they have chosen TINDERBOX, even though we are a brand new festival. We think they compliment and reinforce the rock portion of the program, which includes significant names like Gaslight Anthem, D-A-D, Eagles of Death Metal, and All Time Low”

Faith No More last played Denmark in June 2009 when they appeared at Roskilde.
