Just got a glimpse of a monk in full long brown clerical garb and flowing white beard walking along the side of the stage. One of the most incongruous sights I’ve ever seen at a rock festival. The roadies and techs are finalising stage preparations; a modified version of the red curtain and pelmet returns.Have opted against the mosh pit because (a) it is about 37 degrees Celsius in here (b) the first ten rows have been claimed since before Lacuna Coil and (c) I have a unique view across the stage – I’m about 20 feet directly to the right of Roddy’s keyboards.

Fred Durst leads Limp Bizkit on stage replete with trademark red baseball cap and a new Faith No More version 2.0 t-shirt. Never been a huge Bizkit fan but they’ve really got the crowd going here.

Faith No More down to do a 90-minute set from 2300 until 0030 CET.

Just arrived at the Palasharp on the outskirts of the city. The whole event here has the definite shambolic air of something that has been cobbled together at the last minute after the move from Idroscoula. Inside the venue is sauna-like in its heat with most taking refuge outside. Outside the main entrance is a huge array of unofficial t-shirts. Anyone for a purple FNM shirt with the KFAD album cover on front? Remember Faith No More on stage at 2300 CET.

Faith No More 2.0 has just arrived in a very, very hot Milan and will be making our way to the new indoor venue  at the Palasharp in via Sant’Elia 33 shortly. Latest news is that Faith No More will not be on stage until 2300 local time after Lacuna Coil and Limp Bizkit.
