- Roddy Bottom’s Twitter update from yesterday about US shows has intensified rumours of Stateside shows. The Noisecreep site reported today that “we’re hearing a tour is in the planning stages, with Tool as the openers. Let’s hope that rumor’s true.”
- Today Roddy has confirmed the open secret that there will be a date in Brazil. He Tweeted: “Ohmygod, Brazilians, you fervent motherfuckers!! Enough!! Do you think for a second we’d skip you and your glorious country?” FNM have been strongly rumoured to be playing Planeta Terra on 7 November.
- You can already download Chuck Mosley’s Will Rap over Hard Rock for Food at Amazon (in certain countries). Even without downloading you can preview the album.
- Via the one and only tbeest, Faith No More will headline the main Alpha stage at the Lowlands festival on 21 August from 20.15 until 21.15.
I’d love if Tool opened. I just missed a Tool show a bunch of my friends went to and said it was amazing. Hell yeah.
In the US if FNM does not get a major draw as an opener then they would only be playing clubs, not the big venues. Funny how back in the day FNM would be the openers for tool. FNM’s getting the R E S P E C T they deserved in the 90’s now. I’d still rather see them in a club like brixton or roseland then a arena like MSG.
No fair – America gets Tool and we get …. Selfish Cunt??
hmmmmm ….
C’mon FNM SF show. You know you want to do it.
Most of you can even go home and sleep in your own beds after the show. How weird and unique would that be ….
