Faith No More play the last leg of their European tour at the Heineken Music Conference in Tel-Aviv (for the purposes of this tour Tel-Aviv is in Europe!). Here is the official site in Hebrew and here is a preview piece with some logistical details from Israeli’ newspaper Haaretz.
UPDATE: The same newspaper has just published an opinion piece on whether gig-goers should go to Faith No More or Madonna tonight. Sample quote: “So with all due respect to Madonna, if you have your mind set on seeing a real show with serious musicians, a singer with soul, and music with a message that will stay with you long after the huge video screens come down, I think you know where you have to go.”
That’s an amazing story. Seeing them live was near miraculous for me too.
Oh! I forgot! And Patton was pimpin in a red suit! :)))))))))))
What a story! :)) Is you baby already here?! A girl or a boy ( Mike maybe? 🙂 ? My story , I must admit, is less incredible, but listen: it’s July 4, I’m at Opener Festival ( Poland) and among other shows, without any special expectations ( I don’t know FNM yet- just 1 song ” Easy”, which I don’t like to much) I go to see them. AND I’M STANDING MOVELESS ALL GIG just watching and NOT BELIEVING WHAT I SEE AND HEAR!!!! The day after I’m still hypnotized and decide to see another show ASAP. After a serious phone/internet struggle I manage to buy ticket for Praha (Czech Rep.) show for August 17. 600 km drive- and i’m there. :))))). Now I’m back home and listen to different MP’s projects all the time 🙂 ( Modo Cane, Lovage, Peeping Tom,…- do you know them???) bye! 🙂 Kate
Cheers for the comment- Good luck and congratulations
Thanks

How fucking surprised am I to have seen FNM in Tel Aviv tonight?
-I live in the US
– I am in Israel for a few months with my Israeli girl friend having our baby.
– I found out a month ago FNM was playing here tonight.
– Our baby’s due date was August 27th so I didn’ t bother getting a ticket.
-Sept 1st, the baby is late, the show is sold out and my girl’s cousin has a ticket. She gave me the fucking ticket people!!!
Let me tell you that show was fucking tremendous from start to finsish. Patton’s voice has not changed in fact the dude looks like he has not aged in 20 years. I love this band. I love the music they played. And YES it was EVERYTHING you would have wanted to here. They played it ALL.
-And Patton was pimpin in a red suit.
– now i have to go and have a baby with my girl. thank you baby for holding out for daddy.
what an awesome time in my life. whoa!
As long as they take it seriously this time and all record the parts together in the same studio. What a strange way to end the last time,it was like jim all over again!
Well, now they leave for South America, then Australia, but then… ? A come back with a new album 😉
