They came, they saw and the conquered. Resplendent in their pastel suits, Faith No More played Ashes to Ashes and Midlife Crisis at the Chilean Teleton at the Estadio Nacional tonight. According to the Holy Filament on Twitter, the Midlife Crisis interlude was a cover of “Que he sacado con quererte” by Violeta Parra.
The band were presented with a memento after their performance and Mike Patton took the opportunity to say “Gracias a ti, Don Corleone” to presenter Don Francisco. The band’s performance also got FNM trending on Twitter.
I use the excellent WPtouch: “A plugin which formats your site with a mobile theme for visitors on Apple iPhone / iPod touch, Google Android, Blackberry Storm and Torch, Palm Pre and other touch-based smartphones.”
Hi! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird when viewing from my iphone 4. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share. Appreciate it!

what time are they playing at?
Ah, I’m going to miss these moments.
Whether it was franticly trying to find a live stream before the show, speculating on what the set list would be, enjoying the choppy live stream of Download and Coachella, or waking up the next day to check out videos and fan reviews from half way across the planet over my morning coffee, I gotta say; this has probably been the most rewarding 21st century tour experience that I’ve ever been a part of.
I’m kind of biased because it’s one of my all-time favorite bands, but I also feel like I got more bang for my buck than any other tour. I was only able to make it to 2 shows on the Second Coming tour but felt like I experienced and was connected to far more than that. I’m actually kind of glad now that FNM 2.0 wasn’t like the FNM 1.0 that was on the cover of Rolling Stone, Spin, MTV, and on SNL. It really was a grass-roots, DIY kind of tour that forced the fans to build that networking base from the ground up.
Cheers one and all. Thanks for being rad.
…although we may have to purchase them….?
OK, I see giant video screens doing their thing sidestage in the Primus performance photo. So it looks like we have professional video coverage.
I’m still mystified as to why there is no live stream, but at least we’ll have good videos later.
Nice photoshop pic xD ..it really goes well with Patton being mafioso for all these years lol he’s finally been made 😛
