After two number 82s, here is 84.
- A whole site has been set up showcasing Faith No More’s performance in Brooklyn on 5 July last year. It is “assembled from various youtube clips and an audio bootleg”.
- Bill Gould takes centre stage today. We’ve reported on The Sequential Art before and now Blabbermouth are reporting that that Billy-scored film is seeking a distributor.
- And here is the trailer:
- And Billy has also launched a Koolarrow Record YouTube channel.
- We may have featured this before but here is a 1987 interview with the band:
The Japan benefit concert ~ as anyone interested probably knows ~ has cameras and video prohibited at the request of the performers. However, it will be broadcast… on CTV.
Here’s the info: http://www.examiner.com/beatles-in-national/yoko-ono-sold-out-japan-benefit-concert-to-air-on-campus-closed-circuit-tv
So anyone outside of Columbia University: no soup for you!
Nonetheless am looking forward to jittery, covert video coverage to surface on YT over the next few days.
It’s Bill of course.. always the sweetheart 🙂 very cool posters
let’s hope they were discussing when signing or maybe they were left over from the gigs? I hope not though
That’s a really nice thing to do. Yes, it’s nice to see so many stepping up and helping when things like this happens.
So what do you guys think – when did these posters get signed? Did they have these posters lying around already signed and just decided to auction them of when they heard about Japan? Or, did they send them around for everyone to sign? OR, did they all sign them when they heard about Japan since they were already in the same room discussing/recording their new album?!?!?!?! Ok, it might be a bit of a long shot, but one can hope…
Yeah, I’m really digging on the fact that everyone from Blink-182 to FNM is doing a spontaneous garage sale to support Japan.
I’m watching it. I’m curious to see what the final bid will be. That’s really cool, though. 🙂
Watch it take off –

I think it’s gone up around $100 in just the past couple minutes ….
check out ‘lilsumo’s ricochet cover on youtube, its
amazing! i really think it should get a feature here. its acoustic
and done ages ago, just found it, its great.
Yeah the tickets sold out like 5 minutes after the show was announced. Lots of big names on the bill.
I wonder if this was an evolvement of the show he was originally going to perform in, but cancelled a while back.
Looks like Mike Patton is doing a John Zorn show this Sunday as a benefit for Japan. Tickets already sold out.

Thanks, profundo. That was bugging the hell out of me.
With Mark Bowen as a special guest star
That isn’t Jim in the video,it’s Krusher who was the
presenter of Noisy Mothers in the U.K at the time.
Chuck and Jim should get back together and form a new band with Wade Worthington
Triple B huh. I like it! 🙂
@Triple B ~ It means… we should stick a fork in the FNM reunion, cause it’s done 😛
Last time they told us when it was over… so I will continue to hold out hope unless they say it is over again… in which case I will start hoping for a reunion. This isn’t an easy band to like, you have to have a lot of patience. I think they are just taking their time and not rushing into a new album. Mike Patton has to watch his Lakers get bounced from the playoffs. Puffy’s about to watch the Giants. Billy and Roddy have side projects going on right now. I think it is just gonna take a while or why wouldn’t they say “Hey everyone thanks we’re done.” One day Patton is hopefully gonna say lets give these assholes what they want. Its frustrating as a fan because Patton comes up with some really good ideas for other projects and I think “WOULD IT BE SO HORRIBLY WRONG TO COME UP WITH SOME NEW FAITH NO MORE ITS ONLY BEEN 15 YEARS.” Maybe Patton did just dip into our pockets to support his side projects for the next 15 years. Oh well fuck it, he put on a good show. Bring on Jim and Chuck.
Way off topic but I think I figured out that the Hollywood Palladium t-shirts that say “I (pitchfork) FNM” means “I hate FNM”. Seems like something they would do. Would anyone agree?
It most certainly was – better than awesome!
I am with Adam…. I need to hold on to the thought it may happen and progress cause I want to believe there is more. 2009/2010 was far too awesome to let it all go again 🙂
I also think thats a Jim impersonator. And I always thought that about the Jim in the “We Care A Lot” music video
@ shakey
I just don’t think Patton wants to do it. I really hope I’m wrong but he’s the only one that hasn’t even let out a glimmer of hope
He said along time ago if they reformed it would be for the money. He can now better finance his side projects for a while. I really really hope I’m wrong.
Off topic but am I the only one here that still believes they have something else in the works? I go back to Puffy quitting Ozzy, why would he if there were only a few shows left?
Brooklyn… Loved We care a lot xith Razhel!
Yeah I realized it was 7/2 right after I sent the comment. I was there as well. Great time. I miss FNM and Brooklyn.
Pretty sure that is Jim in the 1987 interview, and the Brooklyn concert was on 7/2, not 7/3. I was there and it was great! Mike Patton to the crowd…”You are facing the wrong way…look behind you!” (at the Manhattan skyline as the sun was setting). I too would love a post of this show, but have only seen a few youtube videos.
In that 1987 interview, did anyone else notice that not only isn’t Puffy there but that someone else is posing as Jim? Pretty fuckin funny.

Faith No More – Live Exit Festival (2010) whole concert online
Anybody have the show from 7/3 in Brooklyn? Haven’t found any of the Warfield shows either…
The 1987 interview has definitely been up on youtube before but the quality of this guy’s version is WAY better. So props to him and your good self.
