Hey hey hey hey man. Miss Machine was a killer fucking album, and Ire Works wasn’t bad at all. Of course Mike > Greg, but I love the shit out of Greg.
I can’t wait to see that footage with Trey! And hopefully new songs, or something… Bungle related? Still, a new Fantomas album wouldn’t hurt, you know.
I’m surprised Mike joined DEP – their last good recording was with, well… Mike! Vin Diesel, I mean Greg – all the albums with him sucked in my opinion. He also ripped off Patton’s vocals in the first album – and since then he has sounded way too much like Trent Reznor. Lucky for him that Mike is 43. If he went up screaming against 27 year old Mike (or early Fantomas Mike), he’d look like a little weasel. Not saying Mike can’t scream no more, he’s a beast! But Mike’s master singing sure as hell owns Greg, no doubt. Who am I kidding, Greg sucks at screaming. Even 18 year Patton was a 100 demons screaming in comparison to Greg. Still, respect for Greg’s reckless stage presence on stage. No one knows how to feel alive on stage these days. Plus Greg owns that other Mike Patton rip-off who’s truly the worst – that asshole from the unoriginal a7x.
“Mikeless, the guy who goes off topic and rants all the time.” I flatter myself.
Are any of the shows being streamed live?
Greeting from Argentina! At 9.00 pm (argentinian hour) you can see streaming Faith No More show on Malvinas Argentinas http://www.vorterix.com/
My prediction for this tour…1 to 3 new songs.
