Faith No More’s Mike Patton, Roddy Bottum and Bill Gould feature in a short Q and A in the latest issue of Billboard magazine. And Patton was in sparkling form:
He describes new album Sol Invictus:
“It is a post-punk record with tons of atmosphere. It’s like ELO or The Beach Boys going through a gothic laundry cycle.”
And when asked if he thinks people want to hear a new Faith No More record, he stated:
“I have no idea! Who knows whether they will like it or not? I never wanted to be a 50-year-old guy making music [for] teenagers. I don’t think any of us did. But all I can tell you that is we’re making good shit. I don’t care who listens.”
Das Schuetzenesque, my vinyl is coming soon, allow me to be a futurist for a moment, first off easy shit, do a remix of all the unreleased tunes from this session and then just do RSD 45s of the finished demos (huh?)

this is going to happen and rock and cars will be back and i need FNM’s tactile reaction to the effect. Oh and if you need some lyrics might I suggest randomly using lines from McLuhan books.
