Ipecac Recordings have posted a video for Faith No More’s Separation Anxiety. Although a fan-helmed production it serves essentially as the official video for the Sol Invictus track.

What a magnificent surprise by the band! I did say sometime ago that it would be a Shame if fnm didn’t continue supporting this album, it’s only 7 months old !! It does have scope to release videos as a lot of the songs play brilliantly to visual senses.
One publication does suggest it as the 4th single from the album that I saw, so, I’m hoping that it’s not a ssu type promo for radio AirPlay only and that it has some remixes of the song!! It wouldn’t surprise me if this song makes the ‘Alternative’ AirPlay chart just like superhero did and this is most definitely a better song Imo.
Really well done…good call by the band to support it. It makes me want to check out that movie, it looks pretty extreme for it’s time. I wish they’d put out some true singles for SSU and SA with some more remixes or some live cuts (or better yet some unreleased B sides from those original 25 tracks). The 2 remixes they had done by Hacke and Thirwell are really outstanding and I enjoy them as much as the original tracks. I’d really like a good digital version of the MFer remix actually.
Freakin awesome!! I love that type of music video. Reminds me of Metallica’s One. What a treat! Video fits the song perfectly. Third FNM video in a row that their not in but who cares. Bands in videos playing their instruments is overrated and way, way overdone. That’s what concerts and live recordings are for. Does this mean SA is an official single now? My favorite of the album…
