Superhero one of NME’s tracks of the week

March 12th, 2015|Faith No More, News|2 Comments

We were looking for this last week but it eventually appeared a week later. Always intriguing to see Faith No More get a mention in the mainstream music media and this is what NME had to say:
“‘Superhero’ is the third single to be taken from ‘Sol Invictus’, Faith No More’s first album since 1997 and chucks machine-gun drums, tightly coiled basslines, pianos and a widdling guitar solo into the crusty San Francisco quintet’s arena-rock cement mixer. The pick of 47-year-old singer Mike Patton’s growled lines is the mid-life-crisis-defying, “Ain’t no grave gonna keep this body down”.”
Widdling? Arena-rock?
